Anyone separated their underwater lighting from the interior lighting yet? If you are and haven't chased wires yet, they are spliced together with the interior lighting circuit somewhere. I plan on running an independent circuit to the accessory switch so they can be independently operated. Helps minimize the bugs!!!

Anyone else interested in this project?

I did not have factory install underwater lights so I ran all new wiring and just grabbed power off somewhere (don't remeber where) I did the lifeform 9.

Alright folks, I just completed this project yesterday... below is a summary of the process in case anyone is interested:

Purchased 30' of 14AWG stranded wire
Fished and strapped new wire from dash around to port locker
Disconnected OEM lights at waterproof automotive connections
Ordered OEM water proof connections from Amazon ($7 ea)
Made up to wire laterals with male OEM connectors on one end and T-tap splice connections on the other
Spliced into new wire and made final connections at lights
Made up connection at helm
Done.

Since I had the wire there, I went ahead and added a 12" strip of LEDs behind the starboard and port air grills... lol

No more bugs while partying in the water at night.
