I know I am new to the forum but I have been lurking for a little bit and I am pretty active on wakeworld.com and centurioncrew.com. With that being said, I am looking to upgrade out of my Centurion Elite V and plan on getting a new '14 A22 with Surg Gate.

What are some of the "must have" options that I need to ensure I order with the boat and what are some of the things I can live without and save a buck or two doing myself?

Some of the options I am thinking about so far are:
ChillAX Flip up seat
Deck Trac
Flip Up Driver's Bolster Seat
Pull-up Cleats
High Altitude prop
Docking Lights
Underseat Lights
Underwater lights (don't need this but I may get it just cause I love how they look)
Stainless Steel Cupholders
Depth Finder
Plug N Play Ballast Plumbing
Stereo Option (I honestly want to do my own install, I would prefer just to get the stock sony hu and cut the holes for the inboat speakers
Swivel Bracket (4 racks)
Tricked Out Tandem Axle Trailer
Boat Cover
Bimini Top and Cover
Heater - 3 outlet
Cruise Control
Surf Gate
Bluetooth
335 Engine? or should I get the 350 Monsoon

Any other options I need?

Thanks,

Tim

All that looks perfect to me. If your not running high altitude just get a 2315 or 2313 prop from acme and keep the 335.

Good luck.

I don't know how much it cost but the driver flip up bolster is kinda useless, the seat squishes down flat after only a minute or two, better off just sitting on a throw cushion in the seat pocket, and depending on how much weight you run you may skip out on the prop and get one of the 15" ones people have been running.

The wedge is a must. I must have overlooked it on my list. The wedge and surf gate are to two major selling points for me. Plus the wakeboard wake is awesome. I will definitely have to look into the prop you guys suggested. I am a little concerned with the fuel usage with a larger diameter/ lower pitched prop. I went from a 13x17.5 to a 13x15 prop on my Centurion and I noticed a huge fuel usage difference.

Ya I wasn't sure if the wedge just came standard now or if you overlooked it. If you are worried about fuel consumption check out The OJ cinco. It's a great prop. Quiet, and you can still throw a lot of weight at it.

I agree with build your own stereo. Thats what I did and couldnt be happier. Sound Crap 2 is a waste of $

I agree, the dealer is trying to get me to purchase Sound Option 3, which is all wetsounds but I am not really wanting to. I think I can get a better deal on the wetsounds myself. Besides, I already have a pair of Rev 10s I plan to take off my old boat and put it on the new one.

I have never had a new boat before, what is the typical policy on trade-ins in conjunction with new builts? The dealer didn't clarify it for me. Once I agree to purchase a new boat for a set price, do I sign my trade-in over to them and I am done with it?

The policies will probably depend on the dealer. I traded my old boat for a '13 Axis. After we worked out and finalized the numbers, I put down a deposit for the build and dropped my boat off with my dealer. Then came back a few months later when it delivered with check in hand. Smooth and simple. As long as you're comfortable with the trade-in value and final price of the Axis after all of the options, tax, etc...pull the trigger!

If you are even half competent with stereo install, do not order anything more than sp1. The dealer that I am working with happens to be a good friend of mine. He flat out said I can order and install the wetsounds myself for a hell of a lot cheaper than axis charges.
