I just got off the phone with ACME and they recommended running a 2773 Prop. I have a 2015 Axis T23 with the 350 and the newer 1.7:1 tranny. I surf mostly and have factory ballast + PNP (1100’s in rear), and bow sack. I know many people are running the 2313, and 2315 but he said that would be too low for the newer tranny.

Just looking to see if anyone has run it

I just switched too it and it's been the best prop I've tested so far in terms of pulling power and lower RPMs. I still can not get my boat to plane out pulling a wakeboarder with 800s in the rear and an extra bow sack with it though I may have other issues with my boat that Malibu/PCM is still dealing with. It will get up to surf speed just fine though.

I also talked to Scott at Malibu (in engineering) and he said they retested the T23 with that prop and that's their new recommendation for a high torque prop instead of the 2249.

You must have other issues because I could get my boat to plane off with full factory ballast 10 people and 750,s in each ski locker and a bow sack. It just took a little long so that's why I wanted a better prob. That was with the 350 engine and 1235 prop

I've been running this prop since almost day 1. I have a 16 A20 with the 350 and it came with the 2249. I tested the 2313 since it was the least aggressive 12 pitch but rpms were over 4k at WB speed. The 2773 got my rpms back down under 4k and felt as strong as the 2313. I don't surf so I only run the sumo 475s in the rear but the boat gets up quick with stock,p&p, sumo triangle on bow cushions and wedge down.

Elevation plays a big part in the setup as well

Yes sir it does. There have been a handful of "disappointed" Axis owners because they skimped on not getting the 450 engine when boating at altitude

I will be upgrading my prop in the next few months. There are so many threads and different opinions that it is difficult to figure out what to go with. It sounds like the 2773 might be the way to go. I have a '16 T22 350. Never run at any elevation. Boat came with the 1235. Top speed is around 33ish. Normally cruise around 26-28. Comes out of the water for wakeboarding no problem with full bow P&P, full stock center and rear tanks and around 1/4 full 825's P&P. Crew of about 6 in boat most times. That set up produces a perfect wake at around 19-21mph. We fill the 825's to about 3/4 full when done riding and drop wedge to surf. Also gets up to surf speeds no problem. 11.4-12. I want to upgrade prop with the hopes of dropping rpm's when just cruising, dropping rpm's when surfing and hopefully gain a little more top end speed.
Would the 2249 or 2773 be a better option? What Rpm do you guys see surfing with the 2773? What impact did you see on top end and cruising speeds.

2249 prop will be better for lower rpm's. You will be staying at the same pitch you have with the 1235 but will go up to a 15" diameter.

It seems like I'm starting to read the 2773 over the 2249 in different threads. A20 I see that you switched from the 2249 to 2773 and it helped drop your rpm's why would the 2249 be better on the T22. It seems like some are even saying that acme and Malibu might be recommending the 2773 over the 2249 at this point but possibly only on the T23's? Not sure if the T23 vs T22 matters.

Interesting... I'm running the 2249 on my 15' A24 at about 800' elevation. It doesn't have any problems running the weight I usually put in it, but I've never ran it totally full or with a full boat of people.

Anyone put the 2773 on the big A24?
