Hey Guys --- I am one click away from purchasing the aftermarket Fresh Air Exhaust for my 2014 A24. I am looking for more opinions on the installation

1. did you remove the muffler?
2. are you noticing an increase in fuel consumption?

Let me know your thoughts

Jim

Don't know about the aftermarket setups, but the factory surf pipe deletes the muffler. Otherwise it increases the back pressure in the exhaust system.

I put a FAE on my 2010 and didn’t notice much change in fuel consumption, that was 7-8 years ago, this last summer I also deleted the muffler and again didn’t notice much change, sound is still super quiet, but if you’re handy with a welder you can make your own muffler delete and save a few bucks.
