Hi Guys - I have a 2014 T22 and am planning to add an FAE this off season. I have been looking at the Fresh Air Exhaust product (www.freshairexhaust.com). Any other vendors I should consider? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I installed the FAE surf pipe last winter on my 2014 A24 with dual exhaust. I could not find other vendors. But the install was not too difficult and it did not take that much time.

@JimFuller: I would be very much interested in your experience with the FAE as I think about getting it installed on my 2014 A22.
Are you happy with it? How effective is the noise reduction?
Is it very difficult to lower and raise the wedge after installation?
Thanks for your help!

Sorry for my delayed response. Mac computer crashed and just got a new one

I like to lower the wedge before filling my rear bags. With the new FAE pipe, you need to get down lower on the platform to stick your arm around the FAE to reach the release pins on the wedge. If the bags are full, you are practically placing your face in the water. That is the only negative item

With the FAE, it is much quieter and no exhaust mist behind the boat. At first, I thought the gas mileage went down, but that is hard to measure --- we might be pushing the boat longer as there are more people surfing and surfing for longer periods of time

I did have a small leak so be careful with the caulk when installing. I just added a small bead of caulk around the outside against the transom.

Having someone help removing the platform is a bonus. It gives you more head room to work on the FAE

Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
That sounds good, I have already ordered my FAE and am looking forward to the next season. I will have the dealer install it in the wintertime.
