Hey guys just bought a 2014 a22. It’s my first boat and overall I’m really happy with it. But as I’m trying to dial in the surf wave I realized a significant amount of spray coming from activated surfgate over onto my surf wave. I’m wondering if this is problem other axis owners have successfully dealt with. I’ve read that 2013 mxz’s encountered similar problems and there was a shield you could retrofit on the surfgate to block to spray. Is this an option for my axis? Is there another option?
Thanks!

I also have a 2014 A22. I have not seen much spray on my surf wave. Let me know if you want any information about my boat.

I also have a 2014 A22. Not see that on mine. Here is my goofy-foot (starboard) wave: https://youtube.com/shorts/1Vd9ncQrSLQ?feature=share

Here is my regular side (port, but shot in mirror, so it looks like it is starboard): https://youtube.com/shorts/Ak6U-Z63_4Y?feature=share

I did have this issue with when we had a older MXZ. They didnt have the defectors at the time. I just dealt with the spray. The deflectors were added to fix this issue on those boats. Would be worth a try.
