I decided to upgrade the front sac to fill with 1" hose and a 1200 GPH pump to improve fill time. I also wanted to add a check valve to prevent the bag from draining on its own.

Parts:
Attwood Corporation 1200 Cart Aerator Pump with 1-Inch NPT - with the 1" NPT model of the pump its easier to adapt to the hull valve.
PVC parts from home depot to connect the pump to the hull valve - I didn't want to replace the hull fitting and I figured there would be pressure at that point to overcome the restriction.
Hose - Shields Series 141 Multiflex Hose 1" ID - I wanted something clear and it's able to bend with a fairly tight radius. I didn't like the way it fit onto the fittings so I'm not sure I would use it again.
Fittings - came from boardstop.com - I used the process here to remove the 3/4 fitting - viewtopic.php?t=137&p=9403.
WeatherPack 2 pin (14-16 awg) kit - I got these from http://performanceplusconnection.com/. Ideally you get a special crimping tool for these. I used a regular crimping tool and it was a pain to do.When I replace the reap pumps I'll also solder the connection.
Bosworth check valve - not barbed, but about 1/2 the price of the Fly High check valve.

I drilled out a 2" hole to re-route the fill hose using the same path as the drain hose.

PVC adapters to allow the pump to fit the existing hull valve.

These are the Weather Pack terminals on the pump wires waiting assembly into the terminal.

Connected to the bag

Image of the pump and PVC adaptec assembly. The pump can be replaced on the Tsunami pumps without removing the housing and there's enough clearance to do that.

Outstanding! Doing all this in that small confined area.

Why didn't you just run one of these pumps? It has a 3/4" inlet and a 1" outlet and still flows 1100 gpm. http://www.wakemakers.com/rule-aerator- ... -1100.html

I know it's not quite the 1200 of the tsunami but its pretty close and you wouldn't have had to put those adapters in there.

If I had known about them I would have probably ordered them instead.

Great job! Where did you get that check valve? Boardstop? I still need one - desperately.

That is an interesting pump - thanks for sharing. $50 upgrade would help fill my 1100 in the surf corner at-least 50% quicker...

The check valve came from West Marine - http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/st ... sNum=50649
