So I’m going to be taking off my factory wet sounds Icon 8’s (4 of them will be for sale soon) and installing 4- rev10’s For amp i was either going to run 1- Wetsounds SD2 or 2 Precision Power PPI900.4’s I posted the specs below. it looks like i could get 310w per speaker with the SD2 vs 480w with the PPI. Have any of you done this or any advice? Ive personally used the PPI to power the NVS deviant tower speakers I had on my old boat and it worked great and I’ve read a lot of people run this with wet sounds rev 10 thanks Cost: SD2- $1000 PPI900.4- 165 each= 330$ total SD2 Output Power (RMS) @ 1% 1000Hz 14.4V CEA 2006 Stereo @ 4 Ohms 2 x 400 Watts @ 58A Stereo @ 2 Ohms 2 x 620 Watts @ 107A Mono @ 4 Ohms 1 x 1250 Watts @ 108A Frequency Response 3dB - 8 Hz - 50 kHz Crossover Range High and Low Pass 30Hz - 300Hz 12dB/Octave Bass Boost 0-12.5dB @ 27Hz - 110Hz S/N Ratio (A wtg) >83dB >110dB Input Sensitivity Low Level 0.2V - 4.1V Remote Level Range 0 db to -61 db 15.6V Overvolt Protection PPI General Features: Phantom Series Class D Full Range 4-Channel Car Amplifier RMS Power Rating (14.4V): 4 ohms: 145 watts x 4 chan. 2 ohms: 225 watts x 4 chan. Alexander on here had an SD2 on 4 Wet Sound towers and it was rediculous loud if he turned up which he rarely did. I couldn't imagine what 480w per speaker would be like. |

Another amp to think about is the ARC 600.2. I am running this amp to a pair of Rev10s so each speaker is getting 400 watts @ 4ohm. It will power 4 Rev10s @ 300 watts @ 2 ohms. I think that amp can be had for high $600 low $700 range. I know that my 1 pair pair of 10s is LOUD with 400 watts, i couldn't imagine needing another pair unless you wanted to be the loudest boat on the lake. I only wakeboard and the music is loud and clear at any rope length. |

I have a 900.4 on my one pair of Rev10's and it's loud. |

Thanks, I hate to run 2 separate amps for the tower speakers but I hate spending 1k for a amp more! Does anyone else have any amps that are good and will power 4 rev 10s |

I used the SD2 on my 4 Rev 10s too... no way you can go wrong with that choice. |
