I ordered a new 2017 T22 and need advice for the best surf and wake board set up. What bags, how large, lead weights etc. Any help is appreciated. Pics would be awesome.

Thanks,

650's in the rear lockers and under bow seat. Either throw some lead up in the bow as well or get another bow bag to rest on top of the seats. I had 900's in my T22 and after realizing I didn't need all the rear weight typically only filled them 60-70%. But I also always needed extra bow weight.

ThatGuy is spot on. I got 900s and it's too much in the rear (for surfing), at least without additional bow ballast. I've got 150 in lead in the bow in addition to the underseat sack, but to be able to run the 900s full, I've plumbed in a supplemental bow sack that I can put on top of the bow seats. It's on a reversible pump with quick disconnect fittings so I can easily stow it when not in use. So my surf recipe is wedge down, factory ballast full, underseat bow sack full, 150 lead in the bow, and then 900s either 2/3 full or all the way full depending on whether I've set up the supplemental bow sack or not. Speed = 11.4

For wakeboarding I'm gonna plead ignorance. I'm "just OK" at wakeboarding (w2w both ways, 180s both ways) and for me anything more than center + wedge is too big... I end up letting off before the lip because the wake scares me.

I have a 2017 T23 on order and was wondering where you guys get your lead? The only place I have found online is at wakeballast.com, but at $59 per 50 bag, it adds up quick. Thanks in advance.

leadwake.com for me. $59 per 50 is about the going rate.
