So I'm sure this is a really dumb question but I'm new to all of this so if I buy an additional bag to sit on the seats in the bow, how do I fill/drain it? Can it be hooked into the plug and play system or do I need to buy a separate pump and if so, what bow bag and pump should I get and any suggestions on where? I have 750's in the rear lockers and I think 550 in the bow? Its a 2016 A20. Thanks

You can go one of two ways. You can get it plumbed in (beyond my skill level, but would be really sweet to do - seen a couple photos of people who have done it that way. Then you just flip a switch) or you can buy a pump that you plug into your 12V when you want to fill it up. I bought the 650 lb Straight Line Sumo Sac with the Super Sumo Pump. It's "one more thing" that you do before you start to surf, but I found the extra weight in the front added a ton of length to the wave and mellowed out the pitch a little too, while providing more than enough push.

I have 550 lb bags with my plug n play in the rear lockers so 750 total in each. If you are going 750 lb bags then you are pushing 950 lbs in each locker and would likely need to balance it out with 1,000 bow bag on top of your cushions in addition to your plug and play underneath. I'd be surprised if you have a 550 bag under the bow, my guess is that it fills maybe to about 400, but I estimated 350. There just isn't enough room under there for it to expand. Fill it full then pop the cushions and you will likely see that it isn't completely full. So I'd say go for the 1,000 pounder or find two really big dudes and have them sit up front. Either way with that much weight in the lockers you are going to want some more bow weight. I'd also make sure your prop can handle the weight. We mainly surf but I did find with my boat slammed the prop we have took a while to plane out. I have to look which we have but its the high alt. prop, not the 1235.

Quick update. Ran just shy of 3,000 lbs ballast, four people, plus wedge and the wave just keeps growing. This is becoming quite the addiction.

Being 50 hours now on a v drive the driving is becoming less of an issue and the more just second nature.

Here is a video going 10.4 (wanted to flatten the wave just slightly to try a spin) but after seeing it I need to spin a heck of a lot faster to make it around. Usually ride at 10 so the thing has more push. https://vimeo.com/170949912https://vimeo.com/170949912

Great try on the 3. Start at the very back of the wave and pump to gain speed, as you come towards the boat...Try getting a bit lower on your board and take your right hand and throw water into the boat from the top curl of the wave. This will help start your rotation and your speed you gained should keep you in the wave.

Updated photo. Had 750 in rear lockers, all hard tanks full, bow bag under full, 650 lb bag on now cushions, wedge deployed, 5 adults in the boat, 10.6 mph. This thing just keeps growing and is so much fun. This is a buddy of mine from last weekend. Curious what a slammed 22/23 would be like in comparison? If I can find a place to keep it when the warranty is up on this thing a T23 may be the way to go.
