The floor is obviously angled under the tank. How do you think that affects the bag's ability to fill to capacity?

I do not know. It is angled a tad bit, maybe 6% ??? I doubt it has much affect at all, if any. I completed the port side yesterday and was able to fill that bag completely full, it was quarter-bouncing hard, pushed the divider in just a little bit, approx 1", so I think it is pretty much able to be filled to max.

Here are the pictures of the floor of the locker, and then one with the plastic panel installed. Once you pull off the small extended cover (that fit over the fill and vent elbows on the hard tank), you can lay the hard tank over the panel to mark your outline so you can cut the panel. I cut both of mine inside the boat with a hand jig saw, just eyeballed it cuz nobody is going to see it, but if I did it again, I would use the hard tank as a template.

Thanks Johnny! I've been wanting to do this for a while just so I can get my board in the locker with both bindings on, traveling with a pickup bed full of boards leaves little room for other stuff

Jackpot! Got mine out without cutting, had to remove the sunpad door and the little cover on the seat back, I also had to pry a little bit with a 2x4 but it squeaked out without cutting it up.

Finally, I ride a liquid force super trip 147 and now it fits without folding the binding in half to cram it in the space, now it just slides right in no problem.

How are you finding the finish on the floor - is it rough enough to wear into the bags?

It's the same finish as the area under the access door for the front ballast pumps, a
Little textured but definitely wouldn't hurt the bags, I'm glad I followed Johnny's lead and did it, way more room down there

I also did my fill and drain a little different from Johnny, since I'm not upgrading the pumps or hoses on my stuff yet I just hooked the fill hose like it has always been and took the drain pump, removed the elbow from it and screwed it right into the bag, I'll see how it works out this weekend.

strong work Walter!!! I am glad you got it out without cutting.... saved you a bunch of time, and headache. Did you unscrew the long hinge for the locker/sunpad doors? or just remove the strut and let the door open more?

I did not even think about storing boards in there when I did mine, but glad to see that it fits, I will use that in the future for sure.

What are you going to do now that you are short 400 lbs? upgrade bags?

I had to remove the whole door hinge and all, I bought custom bags last year that are around 730-750, I can also fill my 400's in the floor if need be but my boat struggles to plane sometimes, I go to too many different lakes, one is 1000' another at 2220', and my newest honey hole is 2990' so I'm just gonna have to see how the boat does with everything full.

I was able to pull the starboard side out pretty easy once I got the door off, the port side took some pushing and pulling and bending to make it out but I did both sides in about an hour.
