Has anyone tinted their front windshield?
Is it legal?

I'm not aware of any law regarding boat windshields. My Nautique had a tinted windshield and it looked great, but it was difficult to see through in the evenings. I have not tinted the windshield of either of my Axis.

There is no law on window tint on a boat. My last boat I had 5% on the windshield. It was great during the day and looked awesome, but was bad at night, I had to look above the windshield.

20% on mine. Can easily see through it during the day and if there's a moon you can still see through it at night. Although at night I don't go more than just above planing speed and I look over the windshield anyways tint or no tint. I hear people talk about paying $250-$450 for tint. Local shop did my A24 for $75 with Llumar ceramic tint and not a single flaw in the tint and took the guy 45 min.

my last three boats have had the windshield tinted. I've had 20% on each boat. $75 is a steal, I've paid 200 - 300. Like others have said... no issues during the day, can be difficult to see through at night.

I live in Copperas Cove and he's here in town. He'll only do an Axis he said after seeing how almost straight the glass is. He's done curved boat glass before but he said it's very difficult, time consuming, and would only do it out of the frame. After he did mine he laughed and said he should've charged me $150. I told him I would've still paid that for Llumar tint. The shop is called Auto Impressions.

I have had my vlx and our new A22 tinted. I did 20% with the vlx and then went 5% on the A22. I love the look and always look over the windshield anyways. Plus we are never out after dark so it doesn't matter. I think I paid $100
