| Post subject: | Head Unit Alternatives |
Anyone use anything other than the factory head unit? I ordered my 2015 with no radio because I'm installing all Roswell. I like the ease of use of the factory unit, and the USB input, so I may just buy the factory headunit online. Has anyone had better luck with anything else? |

Can you get a radio reception on the lake in your area? In my area it is next to impossible, so I always have my iphone or an ipod hooked up via USB. I think my next change to my stereo will be going with the Wetsounds WS-420. You can control the gain to the cabin speakers, tower and sub all independently. However, you need to be running amps. Have you hit up sonicelectronix yet? Whatever you get, definitely get a marine version. |

Its going to be between the MEX-M70BT and the CDX-910UI I'll do the MEX-M70BT if I can find a good deal on a transom remote because the iPod control works. The CDX is outdated and has bad iPod control, but it has a nicer face IMO and it will retain the factory look. |
