Oh, my experience is I bought my boat with sp2 and now have a pair of Rev10s on the tower.

Dezul, did you change amps as well or just replaced the speakers? :P

I changed amps. I had the tower speakers and amp from my last boat. I took them off before I traded it in.

My boat came with Alpine speakers and I think it sounds great when I'm on the board, But I have not been behind a boat with something that is custom. Then I wired in my own lights to all a little touch to them.

I was just in a a22 with spIII (wetsounds) it was good but not even to my old boat with JL amps and speakers.

That said I think inside the boat the apline system (spII) is fine more then loud enough with good sound quality. However cannot hear the tower speakers other than surfing. They just need to do some tweaking on the tower speakers and an external fadder knob would be nice.

Its funny I talked to my dealer service guy recently and commented on an A22 with SPIII saying that I bet it sounded great. He said that my system with two rev 10' s on a syn4 sounded better. I told him to get my stereo guy in to tune the system for them. If you here a spIII that sounds bad it's probably not tuned properly.

This is my opinion, I don't have the best of hearing. I can't hear anything over 12khz. The wetsound inboat speakers are far superior to the Alpines. My boat has the Alpines and my buddy has the WS. I ride on both quiet a bit. The sound quality and clarity is noticeable. With that being said, it isn't worth it unless you have the money and your a music whore.
