Ski pylon is good if you plan to slalom ski or barefoot, otherwise you can easily pull skiers and tubers from the tower.

You can definitely pull tubers from a tower (We bolted up an aftermarket tower to our old boat and pulled 3 tubes for over 8 years and the axis tower is mounted much better than what we had).

That video is awesome! Looks like a lot of fun, but I still wouldn't ever pull a tube from my tower.... :)

In my opinion the ski pylon is useless unless you slalom skiing. You wakeboard from the tower, surf from the tower, tube from attachment on the back of the boat, and you either ski from the tower or the attachment on the back of the boat. But let's be real, you don't buy an axis to ski behind

You can certainly still slalom ski from the tower but it's not as nice (helps in getting up out of the water though!). Unfortunately I'm the only one in my family who slalom skis so I make do with what I have for a boat.

I haven't ski'd since 1993...but that's just me. I'd probably be wore out after the 2nd ball.
