Docking lights. Are the docking lights the same as the underwater swim platform lights? My 2013 A22 came with the swim platform lights but no docking lights. They look exactly the same.

I am not certain if they are exactly the same, but i will tell you the docking lights are extremely handy around the dock at night... do not expect them to act like headlights on the water or you will be angry with their performance.

Hey they work pretty darn good for headlights!! Better than the alternative.... Nothing lol, I'm glad I had mine this weekend

But to answer your question yes I think they are the same as the underwater lights, at least they look identical

I mainly want them for looks. I seen an Axis on Tim's Ford the other day about sunset with the docking lights on and it looked awesome. Another question I have is there anywhere I can buy them online?

Walter... I agree they at least make the reflective tape on buoys glow...

TJO -- Try Earmark Audio Marine, Eric may be able to hook you up. I'll take some photos tonight of them on coming to the Dock for you.

I just had both docking and underwater lights quoted by my local dealer. The underwater lights were $200 each and the docking were $250 each. This is independent of labor so there must be a difference in the lights.

I would not buy the underwater lights from the dealer... A few of us have the Abyss brand S800 lights on ours... much brighter and more color choices.... just my opinion.

A little pricy but well worth the money.

The lights are the same I checked with dealer. The difference in price is the backing plate for the front. So I'm going to move the factory underwater lights and put them in the bow. Then add my color of choice for the rear.
