The transducer can penetrate through the hull...no drilling.

Did anyone ever locate the correct part number for the depth finder?

If not can someone look for tag at the connector end for me?

My boat didn't come with one and I would like to install it myself without going through the dealer.

Thanks,
Jason

That is the part number for the transducer just bought it and need to get it installed. Can anyone follow the transducer wire and take a picture of the connector I have tried my best to find it but cant. The wire that comes with the transducer is only 3 feet or so long so I am hoping that it has a connector in between the transmission and the engine but I could be wrong.

This is the connector that came with the transducer that I bought from the dealer.

I did actually cut a whole in the bottom of my boat with a 2 inch hole saw was pretty straight forward was a little nervous doing it but turned out looking very nice.

This is one of the videos I watched before I started cutting into my boat though it is a thru hull ballast fitting it all pertains to installing the transducer.

Did you find a cable? And I am assuming it plugs into he back of the gauge cluster? Did you try it without cutting the whole first?

Thanks

There is a connector in between the engine and the transmission. I located it by removing the starboard engine partition and getting into the starboard engine compartment with my head pretty much touching the floor and looking at the back of the engine. I found it by getting in contact with the manufacturer and this is the trick they told me found it within 5 minutes with this information. The connector is in the big bundle of wires directly behind the engine in between the engine and transmission. As for using it without drilling I did not just wanted the factory installed look.
