We're a family of just recreational wake boarders, slowly getting better. So, my question is do I need to invest the $900 in getting the bags to start off with, or do I hold off and see if the wake the boat throws is adequate for my wife and myself? We're buying a 2012 A22, so should we start with the bow bag, start off with the rear bags, go with all 3 or just start off bag-less.
Thanks in advance.....

If you are talking about ordering the PnP with the boat, I would say order it. Cheap enough in the initial cost of a boat so you don't have to waste your time doing it later when you progress enough.

My 10 year old son has progressed in the last year to the point I fill the PnP completely too now.

Thanks Fiveflat - What effect does this have on the gas per hour? What do you get without and without, do you know?

It's noticeable. I have never calculated it exactly but I'll tow it out Friday night behind the houseboat and tow both Saturday and Sunday. By late afternoon Sunday, I'm keeping a close eye on the fuel gauge haha. But I also drop the wedge for one of the teenagers as well.

I'd go for the plug n play as well. I'd say 60-70 percent of the time I fill up the front hard tank, front pnp sac, and wedge down. Makes a really nice, firm wake without filling the rear sacs if you have 3 or 4 people sitting in boat.
