Post subject:  Towing another boat

Looking for advice from fellow Axis owners. I have a 2015 T22. Really long story short here....I'm looking to tow a smaller direct drive boat in calm water about 2 miles. I know the real answer here is don't do it..but it gets better. This boat in question is currently partially sunk on the shoreline with bow damage. I have experience in aircraft recovery and am looking to cradle it with strong straps with a set of inflatable pontoons, use a trash pump to pump out the water and have it likely continuously running for the trip to the ramp. That's it in a nutshell.

This would be a VERY slow tow assuming we can securely lift it and float it on these heavy lift pontoons, IF you were to tow a boat a ways, would you use a bridle setup and use both rear stern eyes? or would you use the ski pylon? obviously not the tower.

I have towed people out of gas before slow and just went to one stern eye and it wasn't all that far.

Let the fun begin!

Only use the rear eyelets. I have been to the factory and they hoist and turn the boat using the front and rear eyelets. The tow bar is not that strong
