I have read that Axis upgraded the swim platform in 2011 so it didn't cut into the wave. I have a 2009 A22 and we always have someone sitting at the back to put their foot over an annoying stream of water that hits the surfer. Does anyone know who used to make an aftermarket version of this? Or does someone have a decent picture of the the new platform? I have a local fabricator whose going to build me a new one out of aluminum, but I would like to mimic the tried and true if possible. On another note if anyone knows if someone has the fiberglass version already made that would be appreciated as well! Thanks. |

There are some older threads where people created and made their own version. See if you can find them using the search. Might also have the specs on what they did. My memory is not great on this but I believe they had to just make the platform more narrow on the sides where the gates were. |
