| Post subject: | Swim Platform Door Missing! |
All, On my last outing of the season last year my swim platform door just disappeared! I tried contacting Singelton Marina in Atlanta and they were not able to help. I need the door, and the hinge hardware and the clasp hardware on the door. Anyone have any advice on where I could find this or who to contact? I need help. I have a 2009 Axis A22, but the platform was updated on 2011 I believe, as the one from 2009 cut into the surf wave and they slightly narrow the overall width of the platform. Thanks! |

Have you checked with Bakes.. If you have I would just start calling dealers and seeing if anyone has something that will work for you. |

I checked their online store and no luck. Called 1 dealer and they told me that my boat was too old that they didn’t make that part for it any longer. Emailed Malibu direct and someone their told me that they do in fact have it, but could not sell to me as all part sales needed to go through a dealer. Just got off the phone with a different dealer - now I wait with my fingers crossed. He tried to tell me also that usually after 6 years or so they sometimes don’t have parts. I gave him my info and he is going to check into it. This is not a good look IMHO for Malibu/Axis to not have parts for a 6 year or 12 year old boats! I certainly hope most if not all Malibu/ Axis boats last more than 6, or even 12 years. |
