Hey Guys I am getting tired of spilling gas when trying to fill up from standard gas cans Has anyone found a good fuel transfer pump solution for moving gas from gas cans to the boat? I have done the google search but nothing excites me. Looking for your recommendations Hope you are have a good season Jim |

I no longer transfer from cans, but I used to. I had some 3/9" diameter tygon clear tubes that I used to siphon it. I would sit the 5-gal cans on the transom and siphon the gas - sometimes using 2 hoses per tank. Went pretty fast. I would put in 20 gallons at a time (4 tanks at a time), usually at night. I found the 3/8 lines at about 6' long were perfect for a suck siphon. They never shot fuel in my mouth and a quick pull would start the flow from a full tank (you only have to get the liquid over the hump and then stick the tube in the filler and a few seconds later you could start the next one. |

I use this: https://amzn.to/2X25WwK No worry about an electrical pump and fire. Don't have to suck on the hose to get it going. Just put it into the container and shake the other end up and down until it begins flowing. |
