Hi,

I have a 2012 Axis A22. My speedometer stopped working all of a sudden and when I pulled it out I noticed I was missing one of the plastic protector tabs and the other was bent blocking the paddle wheel. I bent the plastic piece back and the speedometer worked but wasn't accurate at all. I then replaced the entire Airmar unit with an ST-800. Gave marina Hull number / Year Make Model etc.

When I received the new ST-800 (PADDLE WHEEL KIT) it seemed to be an easy swap out... Once I swapped it out I figured I would be good to go... Got in the water still not working. I show on the digital reading .01/.02/.09, but nothing more. My analog is not working at all.

Am I missing something?

Joey

Here is the one I’ve been running for about 5-6 years trouble free

have you verified that the "wheel" is free (debris can prevent the wheel from turning at water speed)? Have you verified that the wheel is aligned with the keel of the boat (if the sensor is put in crooked the wheel wont turn at water speed)?

After smashing mine with trailer bunks, I had to bend it back and "free" the wheel.
