Hello everyone, I have an 2011 A20. The center ballast fill and drain pumps have froze up on me, so I am replacing them. It's incredibly difficult to access the small set screw on the piranha pump to remove the motor cartridge to replace them. The circular floor access panel is just too small and too far away from the pumps. When I removed the floor, the gas tank spans all the way forward, blocking me from the pumps. I tried pulling the gas tank, but the fuel line is too short to pull the tank out enough to get my hands on the ballast pumps. Thus the only way to go forward is to remove the high pressure fuel lines from the fuel tank.

Does anyone have any experience on which way is easiest to remove the fuel line? Any help is appreciated.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but those pumps seize up pretty regularly. I have at least one or two that stop working every year if you include all those from the rear. I would strongly recommend that you get a magnetic tip stubby screwdriver and figure out how to do it from the circular hatch. I did it yesterday on the water.
