So I've been searching and searching, I can't find any information on how to Align my prop shaft engine and such. I just hit 500 Hours and felt like I should probably check that while i'm doing all the fluids and maintenance items this week. I have the tools to do it, Just no information on how to do it. Any insight from the guys that have done it themselves? Thanks! -Don |

I am stubborn and semi retarded but my opinion is, if ain't broke, don't fix it. If the boat isn't vibrating it probably fine. Also, you have a 9 year old boat and just now hitting 500. Quit drinking beer in the garage while sitting in it and use it. |

Find a PCM engine manual. They have a good set of instructions for it. Basically, you loosen the coupler bolts on the driveshaft where it meets the vdrive and check it with a feeler gauge. No one side should have more than .004 of a gap than any other side. |

If anyone else in the future needs the section from the PCM manual for Engine alignment I attached it. Well can't attach a pdf. Sooo, here's the link to the WHOLE pcm manual. Pages 48-51 are what you need. http://pcmengines.com/wp-content/upload ... _3year.pdf |
