It's not the same Puck for 15 that they are using in 16 and it's more expensive. |

If you don't have the GPS installed do you still have the option to select GPS on the cruise settings in the menu? What would it do? My dealer told me they ordered all their boats with the GPS but I don't think I have a puck mounted in front of the windshield and I don't have a compass in my menu... |

All axis boats are pre wired for GPS. There is a female plug under the black cubby where the sub goes. If you select GPS over paddle wheel but don't have the puck plugged in nothing will happen. As soon as i got the puck I installed it and switched over to GPS in the menu and the compass, clock showed up. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

So if you select GPS but it's not installed it'll just say GPS as the source but actually use the paddle wheel or it will not let you choose GPS and save it? |

I believe one overrides the other. I really can't remember what happens if u select GPS over paddle wheel with out actually having the puck. Just test it out the next time you're out. It's easy to switch back and forth. I can say that I love GPS over PW. This is my 4th boat and my previous 3 all ran paddle wheels which I thought worked decent but GPS is much better IMO.
