This information is probably only good for the 2012 - 2015 boats. This change takes the radio off of the ignition switch and moves it to the ACC switch. It is simple to do. All you need is 6" of coated wire. It takes about 5 minutes to do and the radio will never cut off when the engine is killed. Also if you use Bluetooth, it won't cause your phone to pause. If anyone is interested i can post a how-to. Sent from my A1 using Tapatalk |

Also, all this can be accomplished without removing anything. Cut the red wire to the radio, splice it to the 6" wire and use a connector to attach it to the bottom of the ACC switch. Sent from my A1 using Tapatalk |

his 2nd post tells you how, cut the red wire on the radio harness, add about 6" of wire and crimp a connector on it that will fit tight over the open terminal on the acc. switch. connect it to the switch and your done as power is already at the switch from the factory |

Will this allow you to listen to Bluetooth with out the key in the on position? The only problem I see with this is you could forgot to switch the switch off and you come back to a dead battery. |

I always just connect mine to the hot side of the battery switch (perko)... that way you do not take up an acc switch. I separated my interior lights from the underwater lights and used my acc switch. Wish we had multiple acc switches like my 12 A22 did... |

My 2015 is already on the acc switch portion of the ignition key. When you shut off boat just go all the way left with the key and no interruption of anything (even with bluetooth) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk |
