Nylon lock nuts arent required for me. I have a ton of lock washers on hand that should work. |

Could you guys tell me if this would allow you to shift the whole seat towards the center of the boat about an inch? I don't mind drilling holes just not sure of there is room to do it.. |

The plates can be flipped if needed. |

The aluminium is about .25 inch thick. |
