Seeing as how I have a habit of rushing projects, breaking something, and being irritated with that outcome I figured I would ask around. Could seem to find anything on here and I'm just wanting to verify how these should be removed from both the back and sides

Just poking around I didn't see an easy release for the grille, which is how I assume they need to be removed.....grilles off then 4 screws?

I am not sure about the alpines, but the mtx's have 4 screws on the grill that you remove. I am sure the alpines are similar.

Grills just snap on and off.. I had 2 that were pretty tight coming off, but they didn't break.

On the 2012 A22 there are 4 allen head screws on either side of the TITAN enclosure. I took off the speaker side and snipped the wires. Better have a meaty allen wrench for the tube clamps; they were on there tight.

Not sure what you intend on putting on your tower, but the factory speaker wire is pretty weak... mine looked like 18-20 guage, didn't check it though.

The grills on those alpines are twist and lock. Turn counter clockwise and they will fall off. 4 screws behind that for actual speaker.
