I am getting a 2011 A20 on Friday and it does not have a ski pylon. How hard is it to get one put on, and also has anyone done a retractable style one like malibu has? I need a pylon for my dad who is a slalom skier and is mad I sold my sportster ;), but I can forsee the black toe nails from the pylon!

Hmm, not that easy....

You will likely need to build one custom (quote a big job) or use the rear tow point on the transom.

What about just adding an OEM one?

A few users have installed an OEM pylon by drilling and bolting one in place of the center cup holder.

Could someone with a factory pylon post a pic of how it mounts? and if someone has done one after the fact, a pic of that would be awesome!

That helps a ton Walter. I'll have to see what bracket the boat has when I get it, Thanks!

My 2011 has the bracket installed. I did not add a ski pylon though, when I slalom, I just run off the tower. aside from leaning the boat a little harder, it does not affect me that much for the tow point to be higher. I actually kinda like it over a low point. I get a little less slack in the line for some reason.
