Is there anything I can reference for this? I mean I can say that but if they're not familiar with the issue and don't have anything from Malibu/Axis then where can I direct them towards what you're talking about?
If they are a certified dealer all they do is go onto the engine manufacturers dealer site and run the engine serial.
Malibu/Axis would not have any record of it. 2 different companies.
