I have not heard anything. I sent them an email about two weeks ago and have not received a response to that. I'm wondering if they are still producing?

Been a long time since I've been on here. Sorry for the delay in replies/shipping. Been pretty busy with wicked wakesurf. The patent was approved last month. We've had issues with our CNC shop but are partnering with another so we plan to get back on top of orders. If you have an existing order that is over a month old and hasn't shipped yet, please email mollie for 15% off your original quote for the delay and we'll get it shipped out ASAP. How can you get a patent on something that you weren't the first person to think of?

Strap-on surfgates have been around since pretty much right after surfgate was announced. Surely there has to be prior art and POCs for this.

He's probably just the first to apply for a patent. I'm not sure what happens if someone else applies and has proof they had it first. Maybe his patent is very specific to his design. That would protect his design but not necessarily protect him from similar competing products.
