I've finally go the surf waves dialed in for the A24.

Fly High 1100 in rears
Fly High 900 bow sac(realistically more like 650-700)
Fly High 500 in the bow walkway
Factory 1000 lbs
wedge down
11.6-11.8mph is the sweet spot

In the pics below I also had:
460lbs for full fuel tank
6 people = 900lbs

Grand Total=5460lbs!!

Overall I'm pretty happy with the wave. I will say that this boat likes weight and balancing out the bow to stern ratio is key to getting the most out of a setup.

Here's a comparison of both sides. For some reason the starboard wave always looked taller and seemed to have more of a lip than the port wave but when I put the two waves side by side in this pic they look identical.

This pic is of a friend of mine who was trying to see how far back on the wave he could get.

Here's a cool shot. I was surfing with a rope just behind the surfer with a GoPro in my hand.

Here's a cool shot of me giving up a good slash with the A24 logo in view.

Looks great! How far back would you say you are able to comfortably ride? What motor/prop do you have?

450 motor with the 2317 "torque prop"

You can hang far back in the wave to where it starts to curl over and sit there all day but you have to pump your way forward from there. The surf gate waves have more push from about 8-10ft behind the boat. Your T22 wave is different because your hull shape is different.

Good to know. Haven't set it up for surfing yet as still breaking it in. Hoping to get that done this weekend so I can add some ballast and see what it'll do!

What RPM's are you seeing at surf speed?

I use 5050lbs of ballast, wedge, 3-4 people, 10.8 for skim and 11.2-11.4 for surf. My friend in the pic is pretty tall at 6'04"

10.8 :o Maybe it's just me and the people I ride with, but the wave seems to be very short and almost has no push at that speed on my boat. Everyone likes going at minimum 11.6 and we sometimes kick it up to 12. At the surf comps here in the 23LSV comp boat runs at 12+ mph

In my pic above at 10.8mph that pocket is hardly "short" and can push my friend Roger at 270lbs. The guy in the pic is 200lbs. Plenty of push with the right board, rider, and technique. Every boat, even the same model, has its own personality and characteristics. I've had mine at 12+ plenty but I like it at 11.6 mph on my 4'6" Chaos Sixer

My boat depends on the side. Starboard I typically run 11.4mph cause it cleans up beautifully. I still can't get a pretty wake out of the portside. I have only seen it nice on portside once or twice since I have owned the boat and I have rode none of them.
